NNR was set up to purchase and develop 18 acres of former railway land in the centre of Radstock. Our vision is to use the regeneration of the land and assets to contribute to the wider regeneration of Norton Radstock.
The Company appointed Bellway as their development partner in 2005 and produced proposals for NRR's site following extensive community consultation. A planning application was submitted in August 2006. This was approved, in principle, by B&NES as the Local Planning Authority on the 19th March 2007. Following the conclusion of a comprehensive legal agreement (under Section 106 of the Planning Act) the outline planning certificate was issued by the Local Planning Authority on 31st March 2008.
NRR is a Company Limited by Guarantee and is self financed but will reinvest any profit into ongoing economic development based regeneration projects in Norton Radstock. NRR has previously received public sector grants from the SRB, B&NES and SWRDA. To view our Annual Report go to Company reports. |
